Dr. Michael Perry is the founder of Momentum Dental Business Consulting, LLC which
coaches dentists how to provide quality dental care while achieving high profitability
and professional fulfillment within a context of insurance independence. A 1979
graduate of the USC School of Dentistry, he has been in private dental practice
for over 26 years -- currently in Santa Rosa, California
His programs are from the context of a practicing dentist. They are woven together
with business facts and patient case studies from his own practice. They are timely
and salient to what restorative dentists are experiencing in the dental market place.
The mission statement for his consulting company states that "his practice will
be the model for what he teaches."
He has written various articles for dental periodicals. His article on evidence
based dentistry was printed in the California Dental Association Update and was
awarded "Editorial of the Year" by CDA.
He is a former member of the CDA Council on Dental Care and the Redwood Empire Dental
Society Executive Board. He served as president of the Bennett Valley Union School
District Board of Trustees.
Dr. Perry has lectured to many different dental groups on a variety of topics related
to private dental practice as a business. These have included insurance independence,
fee analysis, control of overhead, staff profit sharing, quality and profitability
in the hygiene department, pricing strategies for treatment plans, and leadership
in fee-for-service dentistry
