Tom Carroll is the President of HealthTranz Payment Solutions, a division of U.S. Merchant Systems. He is a veteran of the computer and software industry spending 25 years selling hardware and software solutions to the healthcare and financial markets. The part five years have been focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, first as the director of sales and marketing for a dental insurance claim clearinghouse. Three years ago Tom founded RUI Financial Services to bring financial solutions to healthcare practices.

In May of 2005, Tom joined with U.S. Merchant Systems to found HealthTranz Payments Solutions combining the joint strengths of their two entities. He currently oversees all aspects of HealthTranz from product development, sales and marketing, and strategic planning. HealthTranz Payment Solutions provide total payment solutions to healthcare practices by bringing numerous key services to the practice via the unique HealthTranz web portal.

Tom holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Principia College where he was student body president.
